Cybersafe organized a Webinar about its Security Assessment Services

The webinar was guided by Dinis Fernandes, Executive Manager at Cybersafe and counted with the presence of Nelson Silva, Technical Manager at Cybersafe, Rui Almeida and Fábio Ferreira Senior Security Engineers at Cybersafe.

The core topic of this Webinar was to explain the need and benefits of conducting a Security Assessment.

A Security Assessment aims to keep your systems and policies up to date by periodically testing your organization’s security, resulting in recommendations to reduce the risk of future cyber-attacks and intrusions. Cybersafe participated in the National Cyber Defense Exercise CIBER PERSEU 2019

The event has been organized since 2014 and cover activities as training, evaluation procedures and technical capability in responding to incidents arising from cyber-attacks, whether it is national or international scope. The scenario includes several attacks in cyberspace, which require a set of concerted responses from the various entities involved in this set of simulations.

Dozens of national organizations were involved as Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira, CEGER – Centro de Gestão da Rede Informática do Governo, EuroBIC, ERSE – Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços Energéticos, EURONEXT, Exército (Portuguese Army), Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, GNR, Governo Regional da Madeira, Instituto Universitário Egas Moniz, Marinha (Portuguese Navy), REN, Toyota – Beja, Governo Regional dos Açores / Universidade dos Açores, Universidade do Porto and other. Our Cybersafe team participated in missions MS-05 and MS-07. CyberSafe scored the 5th position on the Cyber Range Training (MS-07), being the MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider)with the best performance.
